SDSUPhillip referred to RPI in another thread so I did some research and found this:
The MWC is currently the 5th ranked conference (according to some obscure RPI formula) in the country

This is such an improvement, MWC last few years has been a laughing stock about baseball, TCU, then an average UNM team, then no one else. Major steps forward for the conference. I am sure they look at it, but it probably is not a huge tool.
