Petroglyph LL in the LL World Series!!!

The Juniors qualified yesterday for the LL World Series in Michigan starting August 16!!! These boys swept the district playoffs, then the state playoffs, then went on and swept the regional playoffs without a single loss!!!! These boys are part of an incoming freshmen class at Volcano Vista HS that in the past yr has won NM Games in Basketball, won the Yafl SuperBowl and now advanced to the LLWS in baseball.

New Mexico crushed Corpus Christi in the title game 20-4 and outscored their opposition 81-28 in four games. Texas teams had won nine of the last 10 Southwest Regional Tournaments. Way to go Petroglyph.

I had heard there was a super class of basketball players just arriving at Volcano Vista, but I hadn't heard of their baseball prowess until now. Birmingham... Alford... someone get over there and show these guys some love! Sounds like they could play whatever sport they want!
