Lobo volleyball fans may see a lighter shade of Cherry being worn by the New Mexico volleyball team. The pink jerseys pulled out another big road win as UNM beat New Mexico State, 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-23), ending an eight-match losing streak. UNM's last win in Las Cruces was Oct. 25, 1989.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The NCAA released the first ratings percentage index (RPI) report of the 2009 season on October 12 and the Mountain West Conference had four of nine institutions ranked in the top-65. League-leader Colorado State has the Conference's highest ranking at No. 22.

New Mexico, TCU and Utah also earned spots in the top-65 of the RPI report ranking 34th, 58th and 62nd, respectively.

Featured Conference matches this week have BYU at Colorado State and UNLV at TCU (same-day tape delay on The Mtn.) on Thursday night and Colorado State hosting Utah on Saturday night.
