I think Taylor/McDonald or J. Brown/McDonald are two possibilities. From what I've heard this past weekend...Taylor is very much open into listening to UNM.

Is he open to listening due to the fact Hobson most likely will not be a Lobo. I've never seen them both play, besides tape. But it seems there games are a bit the same.

I don't think they are that similar. J'Covan is more of a scorer and long range shooter, Hobson more of a distributor and slasher. The bottom line is that you would replace one outstanding backcourt talent with another, however.

That's what I thought as well Pro...that's more of his dad saying that rather than Jeff. It's just things can change. J'Covan was going to visit...it was just a matter of when and if he was going to visit later...was the Coaching staff willing to wait on him. I was told about 3 weeks ago that he would visit in September...J'Covan is visiting right on cue.

I think this Hobson scholarship opening up obviously changed some things on UNM's end. We always liked these guys, just thought we didn't have enough rides and Phillip was always #1.

I might be a little over confident but I think as long as we can get him here on his official visit Coach Alford and Walker will work their magic and we'll have a great shot at landing him. My only worry is he might jump the gun and commit to Texas or OSU before his visit to UNM.
