Did a ref get on Mike Roberts case at the mens game last nite?

I listened to the men's game last night and heard Mike Roberts say something on the air about a ref chewing him out or giving him a dirty look for something Mike had said ... I guess. I didn't hear all of it but Mike also said that was the first time in his career he had ever seen something like that happen.

Does anyone have any more details to this story? I am kind of curious what happened if anyone knows.

BTW, congratulations to the men's team for a great win over NMSU.....and it sounds like the men's fans should be recognized as well. Was this like The Pit of old?

YA,,,,CRAZY, the ref cme over and warned him about shaking his head at the calls, he was amazed,first time anybody has ever seen/heard about that,,,new Moose Stuubing bad refs crew.

I still say...that the officiating in the Mountain West Conference throughout is pathetic. It hurts the entire MWC teams whenever they end up playing in the NCAA tourney. We are so used to having to play on "eggshells" (aware of ticky-tack calls)and whenever they play anyone who is physical the MWC teams seems to be unable to adjust accordingly. Maybe we ought to recruit eastern officials or at least some from the ACC/Big 12.
