Channel 4 had a feature on him tonight (he scored 43 for Hobbs tonight, by the way). Said UNM is definitely in the picture, as are some other schools who have been recruiting him for a while. Both him and his coach are very impressed with Alford. Alford has been on him since the day he got the job. Sounds like it could be interesting come the spring regarding this situation. This kid is too good to pass up if you can get him!

Just got interviewed. They asked him about teams recruiting him, specifically about UNM's recruitment. He said that Alford was a great player and coach and that he could learn a lot from him if he came to UNM. Taylor's coach was also interviewed. He said that Alford visited Taylor on day 1 when he arrived on the job and that he was very impressed with that. He said that UNM was being considered by Taylor. I guess he'll be signing in the late period. Taylor seemed very shy, soft spoken on camera. The interviewer described him that way as well. I had kind of forgotten about Taylor. What a way to top off the class of 09 if he were to be a Spring addition.

Tru that, hopefully we can land Mr Taylor, this kid has game. I think Hobbs will do well this year. And maybe just maybe Mr Taylor can be a Lobo.
