Gallup looked good in the first quarter, but the haven't scored in the second. It was tied at 13 and now they're down 25-13.

I saw on the six o'clock news that the Gallup girls and the LaCueva boys both got beat pretty handily. Boys was something like 84 - 34, and I think the girls got beat by 20 or 30 points.

Gallup played as poorly as I have seen them play for the last 10 years. Once Hampton showed the 1-2-2 zone Gallup made no changes to their offense scheme and folded like a laundered shirt. Bad game...:>

difference was hampton had 2-3 D1 players and an athletic bench...gallup had neither...final was 55-33 i think...hard to expect gallup to compete at this level when they see it for the first time...they were pannicked for most of the first half and had no two point fg's...they played better in the 2nd half though hampton quit trapping.

how did Telisha Joe play in this game? Many a folk thought UNM should have recruited her. Did she look like a D1 recruit in this game?
