Coach Broussard is, or is in the process, of completing his PHD at UNM. He's had the opportunity to be a full time assistant with Coach Alford's staff but with his educational endeveours and his family he's enjoying his position with the program. I think he remains with Coach Alford and will step in to a full time assistants job when an opening becomes available. He is a great recruiter and the players really like himl, A LOT!!! Dairese gave props to Coach Brou seperate of the other coaches. He wanted to really single him out. He is a huge asset to our program and we need to find a way to keep him in the Lobo Family.

Coach Brou recruited Danny Granger. If he can catch lightning in a bottle one more time, he should get a shot at joining this staff on a full time basis down the road.

Well, sort of. I'd say it's more like transferring lightning from one bottle to another. Just a minor quibble.

He also recruited JR Giddens to UNM...Also was the one that got Ty Abbott to commit. I also believe he was the one the got Tony D. He was very close to getting Justin Mason, last minute he chose Texas. There is a list of other kids I'm forgetting that he closed the deal w/ and that he was so close!

I remember when I spoke with AJ's dad last year in Fort Worth, he spoke very highly and was VERY complimentary re: coach Broussard.
