NIKE Elite 100: Cullen Neal

Cullen participated in the Nike 100 (formerly the Hoop Jamboree) over the weekend. Its a pretty big deal to just get invited in the first place. I hear he suffered a concussion on the 2nd day but finished strong on the last 2 days.
102 players were invited from the 2012 and 2013 classes and Cullen was one of them.

Cullen did an interview with Rivals Thursday (http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1229949). He says the Lobos are his favorite team and Tanoan is his favorite golf spot–which I think bodes well for us in the recruitment process.

Pretty big honor, I think they only invite the top 20 players at each position. Congrats Cullen!

You must be a decent player if you only broke 2 windows. There are windows on a couple of the par 5's - on both sides of the fairway. No place to bailout. Not my favorite course for that reason.

Further comments from Dave Telep from Scout.com says he likes the floater Cullens developed and his overall floor game. His toughness was another thing that stood out from last weekend. Dont forget he came back from a concussion to finish the event.
