I think the reason people can't find this site is that a lot of U.S. Americans don't have maps, so I'd like to make sure that we help the people of South Africa and The Iraq for the betterment of the people.

I voted for the new one, based on its potential. It's going to be a super board. Right now it's annoying as all get out, but actually I am surprised that there haven't been more problems. Assuming that these bugs get zapped, the new site will have far better organization than the old. But this is a bit irrelevant. Many of the technical features are nice and fun to use, but what makes a board is the quality of the administration and of the posters. It would be hard to improve on the old one, but I have every confidence that this one will be just as good in that department.

This one is very easy for me to read (the eyes are the first thing to go) and I like that. No disrespect to the old site, though. I have come to appreciate the overall lack of pointless negativism both sites exhibit. Not many trolls here ...

I don't like having the avatars, etc., above the posts. It's distracting. I much preferred having the poster's name and avatar to the left, so my eye could scan the column of posts in the main part of the screen and actually get content, not eye candy.

The way the "topic review" is laid out is tons easier to read. Can I set that as a preference somewhere?

Oz, if you look under your profiles you can pretty much customize the board to your liking. Thats why I chose it. If you want to start the oldest to the newest (post order) you can have it that way or you can do it the way I have set up. Awesome features on here for sure!

Shows that a lot of work and thought went into it...bugs will get worked out. The main thing I notice at this point is there is an awful lot of white. I am not sure if this will fatigue the eyes over a long time of reading threads. I liked the darker backgrounds of alternating black and gray bands and larger and lighter fonts used on the old site...much easier on my eyes. Nevertheless, I voted for this one. Good job!!!
