EVERY football home game! You can see the basketball team practice 2 hours prior to every home game. Looks like we have some work to do!

Wow. Anybody else ever heard of something like this? I think it's great and a great way for fans and players to get to know each other.

Actually all it is is a open practice with a name thrown on it is what I gather. I assume you can have one open practice to the public a week so why not throw a name on it and do it two hours before the home football games? Its actually brilliant.. Not only do you gather interest in the program, if you have visitors in this is another way for the fans(Bloo) to chant their names and show the love.Instead of keeping people out ala McKay, were inviting people in! Good idea.

That's what I meant. Coaches differ on whether or not they open practices and how many they hold. I think it's a great move to promote it and hold it at a time when people are going to be in the area anyway. To also make it a regular ongoing deal is pretty cool.

If you say the name, you gotta pay royalties (REP). C'mon, show the love! :bighug

Can someone get a video camera up and film the session in case TD throws down some more vicious dunks? He's a ticking highlight reel.

Thats sweet, but im just gonna have to wait and watch em at the howl when I get into town. I was lurking around the Iowa boards last night (dont ask me why) and they were wondering if there was still going to be a shirts n skins game before the home football games. Seems like a tradition Alford started or something that was established when he arrived in Iowa.

No, I wasn't there :cry. I got held up by fatherly duties :box. But I will try my best to make it to future scrimmages.

What would be best is to invest in a HD camera and film as much as possible including games. Screw the mtn.

Nahhh. You're making a 'documentary." You're not broadcasting the game.
