Looks like he commited to Missouri. I Don't know how hard coach Alford was recruiting him, but I thought I heard somehwere that he was planning to to take a visit here.

Sep. 13 Laurence Bowers commits to Missouri
6-foot-7 small forward Laurence Bowers verbally committed to Missouri on Wednesday, according to the Kansas City Star. The Memphis, Tenn. native turned down offers from Arkansas, Marquette, UTEP and Pepperdine. "(Head coach) Mike Anderson has known me since I was little, way before I even knew about basketball," Bowers said. "That had a lot to do with it. I know when I go up there, he'll see me like a son. Plus, I really like their style of play."

He was down the list for us. That's crazy when some of our backup plans are going to Big 12 schools and such, no?

Agreed Mike, It's nice to see that we are recruiting with the Big Boys and actually winning most of the battles. I was getting tired of competing with Portland St. and Stephen F. Austin.:D:D:D

Actually the profile for McKay recruit says we were up against Bucknell, Oral Roberts, SE Lousiana, and Liberty for Enoch Andoh. LOL. He decided on Bucknell once McKay stopped recruiting him to UNM.
