Looks like I am gonna be camping out for some FREE student tickets again!:>
BTW: I wonder what the PAID stats are so far regarding season tickets. There is NO reason why we shouldn't sell-out THE PIT!

If we do not sell out the PIT, we should fire the fans. Sixteen to eighteen thousand every game in 2007-2008. In 2008-2009 every game will be sold out. Lets show UNM that we are thankful for coach Alford and his staff.

Season ticket sales are ahead of last year, but have a long way to go to even come close to having a sellout except for the Aggie game. By conference time, we will see the effects of new staff on ticket sales. Just win baby!!!!:>

We won't sell out on season tickets, but I'll bet we sell out the first game in individual sales. SA's first game is going to be crazy, and I already sent an e-mail to him telling him I'm guessing the first game will be a sell out!

I think a sellout for the first game could happen if the Lobo Howl goes off really well. It's going to take a little pub to get the casual fan off their butts, and over to the Pit

I think the casual fan will come because of the hype of SA. After that, it may be hard to sell out, depending on how we're doing. But I think we'll sell out the first. And I think we will average at least 2K over last year. Lot of people I know that wouldn't go to games the last couple of years will be going this year!

I trust Coach Alford and the Lobos learn to not just cover the point line spreads but proceed to demolish those Las Vegas betting lines. It's quite obvious to the pollsters that teams like Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, etc etc do not let up and barely squeak out wins. BTW, "the higher the rankings the easier it is to recruit high calibre players". I predict that we will be a top twenty team by the beginning of 2008. LET'S GO LOBOS.

The first game of the season is against Eastern NM, doubt that it will be a sell out. Hope that I'm wrong.
The first 5 oppenents are not very immpressive at all. After Eastern the next 4 opponents are
Eastern Washinton, Presbyterian, St. Bonaventure, and Loyola Marymount. The first sell out may be
the Hawaii game. I hope all the games are sell outs but it won't happen. Only a couple hundred fans showed up for the skins game.
I know that Alford wants to upgrade the schedule in the coming years. Will be nice to not only recruit against the elite but to play against them as well.
Did anyone hear Alford say that the team was scheduled to participate in a tournament in Mexico
next season? One of the teams in the tournament is Illinois.
Here's the 2007-08 Basketball schedule

I don't know when the season ticket sales were sold out, we used to wait in line from the butt-crack of dawn to get our student season tickets. But, the games themselves should be sell outs or close to it. That's the Pit I know. With this new staff and the guys they're bringing in, GO SEE THE LOBOS! Who cares if they're playing a "marquee" name or not. Support the dang team! (okay, rant over)
