interesting WCC game

I just happened to catch the end of the west coast conference championship game. Gonzaga vs San Diego. Gonzaga was the #1 seed having lost only 1 conference game. San Diego started their season 0 - 5. San Diego wins the championship game.
Their coach is Cindy Fisher who used to be the Wyoming coach. Looks like she is doing very well at San Diego.

Maybe San Diego will play in the Pit this month. I'm looking forward to seeing what teams we get. Should be fun.

Also two players on San Diego came to multiple camps. 6'5 Sprague and PG Rego. Another friend with them you may remember from the Dayton game, Nikki Oakland. AAU team mates that at one time all wanted to go to the same school. Rego close to the top nationally the last couple years in assists. Sprague was plagued with back problems for a while, showed some good psot skills last night. Be interesting to see if Gonzaga gets left out for a second time after dominating conference play only to lose in conference tourney.
