Who will be HC Noodles first recruit? Will it be Josh, "Z", a St Mary's recruit, etc.

We only have 4 players in the 1,2 position (HG, KW, CT and Perez)
The rest of the team is a 3-5. Maybe Tony or Merv can swing to the 2 -- but it is a perfect fit for Cullen. Gets significant playing time his freshman year - is a three year starter.

Do we even know if Cullen is coming to UNM??? I haven't heard anything that implies he will.

St. Mary's and it's not tampering if it's your wife who's doing the recruiting.

...plus she is probably doing the laundry now too.

Cullen has to ask for a release from LOI with St Mary's. If they give him an unconditional release he could play next year for the Lobos. If not, he would have to sit out a year just like a transfer.

I would hope St. Mary's would grant a release, but you never know.

Yahoo said Z Cheatem was being taken by SA at ucla,,today.

'It's early, but there are signs West Coast recruits do too.
Westwind Academy's Jeff de Laveaga, who coaches Zylan Cheatham (http://rivals.yahoo.com/basketballrecruiting/basketball/recruiting/player-Zylan-Cheatham-132968), said Alford has a great chance to land the highly touted Class of 2014 small forward now that he's at UCLA, especially if immediate playing time is available. And Barahona reiterated that UCLA is far more appealing to Wright with Alford at the helm than it would have been with Howland.'

Why do people keep saying this? St Mary's probation won't ban them from post season play. That's the condition for opting out of a LOI. He can not opt out...he must be released.
