Anybody that has kids has been involved in some sort of fundraising effort...as much as I hate them they are a necessary evil! With that in mind I am involved with 2 start up organizations that are looking to hold fundraisers to raise operating funds for their group. I am looking for new and unique ideas...so what is the best fundraiser that you have been involved with??? Thanks in advance for the assist!

Depending on how much money you need to raise.
carwash 8 am to 1:30 pm on a saturday $550.00 average.

spaghettic dinner- borrowing a schools cafeteria and very well planned - $10.00 donation $5,000 to 10,000 (donated food )

Raffles and chinese auctions 3,000 to 6,000

a formal ball with dignitaries and politicians - Must be extremely well organized $25,00 to $75,000
must charge like@25.00 to $50.00 donation to get in, where a tux etc

Buy a car (used car) or get one donated and raffle it off for $50.00 to $100 per ticket.
$2000.00 to $4000 usually dbl value of vehicle. A finite amount of tix to be sold. These are hard to do unless you give yourself enough time to sell all the tix

hire professional fundraisers. Their cut is usually 40 to 50 percent

talent show - with prizes and sponsors, 2,000 to 10,000

I did fundraising, it is a pain in the butt, if its very very organized and well thought out you can make out ok
