Just a personal take............

Last Friday, Coach Walker was on Stig's show and said that all the recruits READ EVERYTHING on the message boards, and call him alll the time to see what stuff on these boards means and why peoples say that stuff.................THEY HEAR YOU. The fact that recruits and family check in here occasionally should remind us that they're watching, and reading, and EVALUATING.

Be mindful of what you choose to post about recruits.
They are all someone else's kids, and they're soon to be OUR kids, too.
We're not just talking amongst ourselves in private anymore -- it's a national audience (if you want to include Iowa, too.). Let's demonstrate that, as fans, we are who we think we are!

Think TWICE before you hit that "ENTER" key next time you want to share those deep, dark concerns lurking in your troubled, APR-tortured soul. One of our recruits may be reading.............

Nice post Duke, I was just on the thread about Rusher and was saying how we are all rooting for him to pull through on his school work. I would also like to add the same thing for Dennis, come on bud we are pulling for you too. I think we all are so excited about all these kids getting here that when snags trip them up our frustrations show up and things are spoken that are better left unsaid! However we all are still by your side guys, all of us, we want you here as much as you want to be here, work as hard as you can and you will be hearing the loudest roar in collage basketball, 18,000 Screaming Lobo Fans, rooting for you!

Great post Duke. I'm glad someone other than me said it. That's why were more strict here. We've had a number of recruits,players,UNM staff,AAU coaches, and family members who frequent the boards. This is the reason why I delete some of the stuff said in game threads and other not so thoughtful posts. Now you know why. I don't so it to be some sensor Nazi but rather protect our own. Always ask yourself if you would be OK reading this if it was your son or daughter? I do think we run one of the most respectful boards on the internet and that's a result of the posters we have here. Keep up the good work!

RPS, this might be a post to store in the memory banks for future (unfortunate) reference when/if a poster starts to question a recruit's ability/why we're recruiting someone/how someone allegedly compares to another recruit or others that we've been recruiting, etc.

You hurt the program you purportedly love when you do this... this is NOT the water cooler, folks. I know most of us know this, but there are a few of us that don't.

Right on Bloo, this should be a must read sent out the Moderators at the first sign of disrespect to the program or players, we are here because we are Lobo Fans, we might gripe but never should we disrespect future or present Lobos! We are here for all the right reasons!
