Excitement at an all-time high?

I can't ever remember being this excited/optimistic about the Lobos upcoming basketball season EVER.

We have a coach who is pretty much loved by all Lobo fans.

We have a bunch highly touted, amazingly talented recruits coming in, not just this coming season, but for upcoming seasons as well.

We are coming off a season that was considered exceeding expectations on all levels, and just missed the NCAAs and lost by 1-point on the road to a PAC 10 team in the NITs.

The Mtn Channel is finally coming to DirecTV in a few months.

The Moutain West is looking at moving the MW tourney out of Thomas & Mack.


There are so many positives and Lobo Basketball Fever seems to be heating up daily and I can't remember the excitement at this level before? Maybe I'm wrong, as I often am.:fun

yep excitment is there, as well as an understanding if all doesnt pan out, its not the end of the world. decent expectations should be had from many fans. end of the world fish bowl mentality is what weve been known for

Anyone have word on improvements at the HOWL?
I know a lot of people have complained about the "production" in last few years, especially me.
I hope they can match the excitement of the HOWL to the excitement of the fans.
I have faith that Krebs will do it right.
This is the beginning of an era.
