Now living in AZ it allows me to hear what other schools alumni, fans, and talk show host think about the Lobos and here in AZ it is not much. Driving home from work listening to the big Sports radio show (KTAR 620) they gave the Lobos no respect. There is a great deal of speculation on U of A coach lasting beyond this year if he doesn't win 7 or more this year. Without exception all the call in people and the talk show host said there are two for sure wins and that was Northern AZ, NM and probably BYU would be the third. So from there they said four more wins in the PAC and he has his 7 wins.
I will be driving down from PX for that game and I may be the only one in the stands thinking that NM will win but win or lose they will know that one Lobo was there. Let’s get everyone excited about this game and bring a crowd to Tucson!!

I used to live in Pheen town and know how they act. I remember when we beat Lute callers we calling up and saying how classless we were, this and that. I love their women but hate their fans. If I didnt have a baby on the way I would suggest we all call Yakka and let him know were coming to crash his house, Burque style! lol

COLOLOBO,

620 Doesn't speak for Tucson. We''re not about to overlook UNM when we have BYU this weekend. You'll never hear me say we're gonna beat UNM before the game...that's not my style. UOFA will be pumped for UNM. As we say "BEAR DOWN". As for RPS he's had one too many Red Bull's. Colo hate to break it to you...but unless you've been to the stadium in Tucson the "Arizona Stadium" will be sold out. This year's team is gonna be pretty good. We have a very good defensive line young. but talented. And Antone Cason is one of the best corners in the country. If Willie T has time he'll pick opposing defenses apart. Should be a great time down in TUCSON. Stoops needs to get UOFA to a bowl game anything less with mean his job. He's one of the best recruiters around, but he needs to prove he can develop that talent.

Several of us went to the bowl game in 97. It was a great experience. We are looking forward to the game on the 15th.
