Kinda feel sorry for the kid he poster-ized in the last clip.
He blew by some people for the first dunk as well.

That kid is a playa! Great inside-outside game.
I got this clip from RPS on the old board. The thing that's exciting about the guy is that he's got some terrific offensive skills. And he's long and rangy.
Looks like another Danny Granger. Now wouldn't that be something?

He reminds me of Andre Igoudala at times. As long as UNM stays on him...he'll be a LOBO! I'm not saying he's a lock but there's a great shot there. No such thing as a Lock in recruiting.

UNM is on him Garish. At this point UNM is in the lead for his services. Watford attended the Elite Camp and left with an offer. UNM knows plenty about him. UNM is most defintely on his radar!

In fact in one of the recruiting services, the ESPN one I believe, they've got UNM listed as his favorite. This is a big deal if we can get someone of his caliber. And it's a big deal that we're the frontrunner for his services.

I can't hang with Yakka on this stuff. I'm just offering up the table scraps that I pick up off the floor after Yakka has dined. Yakka is king of the world when it comes to bb recruiting.

I read somewhere that he was ineligable for this year. Is that going to affect are chances of getting him?
That's just for his high school swerve. As far as I know this won't mess up anything were doing.

It had nothing to do with his athletics or academics, I believe. If I remember correctly, it was because he didn't live in the district. Correct me someone if I'm wrong.

Your are not wrong Rick. You're wright, I mean right. He did not meet residence requirements after moving out of his own district to attend another school.

Do you know if there are any other schools recruiting him. Does anybody know if we can land Jeff Taylor from Hobbs. I know there were a few of you that had some insight info on him. Anybody from Hobbs know anything?

Other schools are Watford are:UNC, UF, UCONN, Alabama, and UNM of course being the early favorite. Taylor is not getting good advice...he seems not to be interested in UNM...but the staff must keep on him. Taylor is big-time he avaerage 21.3 pts, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists pergame for the Swedish National Team this summer. He's a lot stronger and Quicker since coming back from Sweden.

Theres some news around the corner that everyones going to like. I don't want anyone to speculate because thats how unnecessary rumors start. I'll tell you guys just as soon as I can but trust me on this one. Don't worry about Jeff, who knows where hes headed but I doubt it will be UNM personally. Sounds like hes being pulled in a few different directions and none of those head to UNM. I don't have any first hand info on this just my pure guess.

As for Watford's recruitment goes as of now...UNM is at the top...with other schools like Florida, Georgetown, Alabama etc. He's right up there with McDonald in being the #1 priority in the 2009 class along with Ray Turner.

stems from a charge of his having been recruited by the coach at the new school in violation of the rules regarding transfering students. To become eligible his family would have to move to a different district. He would be eligible in the district he now lives in next season, when he will be a senior.
