Looks like he is helping the whole conferance by the mention of this recent Air Force recruit!
VIP ROOM - MONDAY, OCT 1st (UPDATED)!
Brandon Provost 6'3 sg (Seven Lakes HS 2008) narrowed his choices to Air Force and Northern Iowa. This past weekend, Provost made his decision and were planning to allow him to inform the world wide web tonight live on "The Basketball Show" (9 - 10:30pm) click here to view show www.houstonsports.com (http://www.houstonsports.com/) .
However, he will not be able to make it to the studio, and his head coach Dan Miller (Seven Lakes HS) released the following statement:
"After going back and forth between UNI and Air Force (both great conferences –Missouri Valley and Mountain West) Brandon decided on Air Force. Main reasons – they recruited him as a lead guard and he loves to play the point, he has a chance to possibly start as a freshmen and they want him to shoot a ton of 3’s (which he does VERY well). It was a tough choice but he is very excited about the Air Force. Of course he is excited to lock horns twice a year with his Houston pals playing for New Mexico! Air Force measured Brandon at 6’3 ½ (he grew 1 ½ inches from last year) and he is now excited to concentrate on SLHS having one hell of a year!"
