If this was your forum what would you do to make it better? Im not going to lie and say i am a huge womens fan but I do however follow them and attend their game in the MWC tourney. Most of my attention is focused on the mens team and recruiting etc. I want to know what I can do to make this a better forum and or what you would like to see before the season starts. I would even be open to handing this forum over to one of you dedicated womens fans if someone said that they would like to do that. Help me help you! Thanks in advance!

I would be glad to help out as I am a big fan of the women's game. I'm not sure what would make it better as I read these forums to get a sense of what other fans are thinking and to discuss the games, players, program etc. This is a great forum for all of that. I appreciate having this available.

It's hard to force people to embrace something that they don't naturally cherish. There are a number of us who are also devoted to women's basketball or more specifically, Lobo Women's basketball. It is a different sport from men's, but the games can be just as exciting. Flan's teams are easy to like. The Lady Lobos tend to be well-spoken, bright, attractive, and team oriented. On the negative side, we don't usually see many blue-chippers at UNM. With the excitement from Alford's recruiting, the good but less than spectacular recruiting on the women's side stands in bold contrast. Still, it's positive to see the Lady Lobos achieve 100% with their available talent. Alford reminds me somewhat of Flanagan in being old school and emphasizing fundamentals. I think that if more of the men's fans were to watch a few women's games in the Pit, they'd become hooked. Until then, we'd need to attract some of the big women's fans who post regularly on Loboland and Wolf-Bytes.

I think that the board is fine and has decent features. I do have some problems with my log-in timing out rather quickly. If I am on the board, go to do other things and then come back a while later, it forces me to log in again. When posting and then having to log in, any typing done is lost.

Completely agree. Our coaches seem to get every ounce of output of the players they do have. One thing, I think we all are wondering, what could these coaches do if they had a couple of "special players" and got every ounce out of those players? Would we have an all-american player or two in our program?

If anyone can coach them up, our coaches can. I just hope they get that opportunity at some point!

Thicklobo, if you click the "remember me" icon then everytime you. Log in you won't have to repeat the process.

I wasn't asking what features you wanted but rather the content. Not sure what I can provide but I'm willing to do what I can.

If there's posters you guys know of that you would like to see on here invite them, please. Its quality posters who make a site not the other way around!

Thanks for the input!

RPS, you have a member here called LoboRay I think. He keeps up well with the women's game, and does some excellent write ups. I highly recommend him for some of the insight that many of us would enjoy if he is interested in doing so. I think you should PM him on his availability.

I like stuff like player interviews and insight we don't usually get from some other sources. :-)

Go Lobos!
