For a hot minute on yesterday, we thought the Aggies had landed a huge local pledge. After receiving over a dozen calls/ texts from college coaches abroad (wanting to know if it was true), I phoned and spoke with the Cy Springs head coach who dismissed the notion that Erik Williams 6'6 wf (Cy Springs 2009) had committed to anyone this early. Texas A&M is already looking very good with young players like Ray Turner 6'8 f (Jones HS 2009) and have made a straight up chess move (I'm talking about the move of the month) with the area's #1 crab, Jamal Branch 6'1 pg (Atascocita HS 2011). Not good if Ray Turner is starting to lean towards A&M before he's even taken a visit here. I thought Ray was a high priority target.

:D He's by far the #1 Priority for 09. And Turner as well. After that who knows. I wouldn't count out DJ RICHARDSON as of yet...it's clearly possible. Nothing suprises me with this staff.

Tru that! This coaching staff has some tricks we haven't even seen yet. I'm sure we were all amazed of the miracles these coaches have done in the short period of time that they landed in NM.
