It was such a surreal day. I got to work and the receptionist said a plane had hit the WTC. Everyone thought it was just an accident, so I turned my radio on. A couple of minutes later the second plane hit. Everyone just sat around my radio all day. But it didn't really register until I got home and saw it. They were the most terrible images, yet I couldn't pull myself away from the TV. My ex-wife even called me crying. She needed someone to talk to. Amazing what something like that does to people.

A prayer out to all those who lost loved ones, and especially to all those kids whose worlds were devastated by the loss of a parent. God be with them all.

I wish I could edit the endorsement because that is a part of the message that might upset some people. Take that away, and I believe most will agree with this young veteran. Make sure you watch long enough to see him walk away.
