Dice-K vs. Westbrook.

No postseason success thus far for Dice-K... Westbrook's sinker kept the BoSox in check in game 3 (4-2 win for the Indians in Cleveland.)

I'm leaning with the Indians. Doesn't matter, though... Rox beat whoever the AL throws at them in 4.

I feel for the Cleveland fans should the Sox pull it out...but Fox will be happy. I agree about the Rockies, the way they are playing a sweep could happen. Which would not make Fox happy.

Interesting note will be how will the Rox react to a loss it hasn't happened since Sept 29th.

Roob

Well Dice K did better than I thought he would. He completed the 5th inning this time and only gave up 2 runs. Still not the dominating performance you keep expecting from him.

This one's up for grabs. Could be a fantastic finish. Westbrook is getting better with each inning.

It's getting intense. Folks are starting to grip just a bit. Lugo drops a pop fly. Cleveland's 3rd base coach has a brain fart. Blake botches a hard groundball. Who's going to be the goat in this game?

Not too many more of those sh*t-eating grins from Shapiro, the Cleveland GM. 5 days ago he was up 3 games to 1, he had this beautiful blonde babe of a wife at his side. The world was his oyster. He and his wife were just grinning from ear to ear and everybody was slapping him on the back. Dude was a genius. Now when the camera goes to him, his body language is far different. Even the wife isn't smiling anymore. But he'll get one last chance to smile, just a hunch. These Indians aren't going away. 2 on, nobody out in the 8th. They'll get a shot at Papelbon now.

:Afun):Afun) I said it was 6-3, a couple of innings ago, but Rick corrected me and told me it was 5-2 at the time. Oopsie, Blake makes another mental error by running into Jhonny (no that's not a typo) on that popup down the right field line. Another boneheaded play that results in a gift double.

Anybody think Coco Crisp sees the playing field again in this post-season??? Sox have been on fire with Ellsbury in the lineup. I'll be surprised if Coco is even with the Red Sox next year. He just became expendable. And what's up with Ortiz? Certainly he must be hurt - he's looked horrible in the past few games.

Baseballs gods are smart a$$es. Coco Crisp comes into the game as a defensive replacment for Manny (he then switches positions with Ellsbury as he moves to CF). Looks like I should have been more precise. "Anybody think Coco Crisp is in the starting lineup again in this post-season?".
