4 seed? Seems high but if they do play in Phoenix, I'm finally going to get to see the Lobos play in the big dance![]()

Wow, they still have CSU in as an 11 seed.

That won't work. For CSU to get in they're going to have to beat the Lobos Tuesday. If they beat the Lobos, we won't get a 4 seed.
that bracket looks like a road to the final 4...
'...the Pit is just God awful uncomfortable for a visiting team.'
...he yells, "No one comes to the hoop now, Melvin. No one!", Harv Schmidt to Mel Daniels
“They’re loud and they get on you. They know everything about you. They know your mom’s name.”, jimmer fredette.
...Bobby Knight was screaming at his starters for being late. "We're getting our #!&$@$ kicked! Because you were late!".
A nice demonstration of why it's so important to get a good seed. Compare the teams we theoretically would play in this example to the teams we would play in some of the other earlier bracket projections where we are a 7 or 8 seed. I would love this bracket. .... And by the way, somebody yesterday put the Lobos as a projected 4 seed. I can't remember who it was though. Maybe Seth Davis? Don't hold me to that.
Just another jackpot. Ain't nothing new.
What this article fails to add is the seeding locations for the first 2 rounds, the 4 seed in the west would play in ABQ and seeing as that would be the Pitt, Lobos cant get that region/seeding. NCAA rules prevent a team from playing on its home court in the first round.
I would rather play Texas. St. Joe's is pretty tough in the tournament.

Alabama should be erased from every bracket unless they win their conference tourney. Otherwise they are not worthy.

WOOF WOOF WOOF
What this bracket tells me is that he believes that UNM is the 13th best team in the nation. The top 4 seed gets the play-in winner.
However, UNM and CSU wouldn't be in the same bracket. If they can split up the four (assuming four get in) MWC teams, they will. They could easily swap CSU into BYU's bracket, move BYU to California's bracket and put California in UNM's. It makes sense that way anyway given that California will be the top Pac-12 team, so the committee would put them in the West. But that's bracket etiquette.
Still love the 4 seed. More of them to come in the next few weeks if we keep winning.
