Ok, someone help me out here!!! I count 29 days until the the kickoff however I have a CLOCK countdwon on my computer and it says 28 days?? Which is it??

Depends on how you count. Today is Friday. The game is on a Saturday. In 4 weeks + 1 day from today, the Lobos play their opener.

To make it simple let's assume that tomorrow is game day. Today is Friday, tomorrow (Saturday) is game day. Are we 1 day away from the game? I would say yes. If you accept that answer, then we are 29 days away from the game as of today.

Time for a reset.

You confuse me the way my mom used to confuse me on my birthday. In spanish lanaguage convention your birthday is know as your "cumple" anyos (intentional mispelling of anyos because I don't have the enye letter readily available). In any event the word literally translates to "years completed" in english. So on your first birthday, they would reference that day as your "1st year completed". So on your 1st birthday, you had completed 1 year and were now on your 2nd year. So when I asked her how old I was (on my 1st birthday) she would say that I've completed 1 year, so now I was 2 years old.
