Anyways, a 7-footer with some skill should be a huge asset for us. (Not as if he wasn't at 6-11)

This is mostly the case with the big guys.. UNM always lists them a inch taller and don't if it's the case most times. 7 feet always looks tough on paper but believe me my step dad is 6'10 and 7 is not that much bigger in the court. Alex is a beast and he will have a STRONG season this year but believe me by 2014 he will be the most dominant big man on the west coast if not the country!

Where I would like to see growth is the weight of these guys. I would like to see Kirk coming in at around 255 at 6-11. When does the official weighin occur? I am still hoping to see a bigger Tony Snell this season. 210 would be fantastic.

Appreciate the update, Mark. By all accounts Tony has always been a hard worker, and his play is going to be critical to the Lobo's success this season. The extra explosiveness should help his confidence and make him that much harder to guard. I'm really looking forward to Tony putting a snelling on the MWC this season.

I'd take that with a grain of salt...I'm sure Diego's workouts have already helped him, but I doubt that anyone can be "way more explosive" after just working out with someone for 2-3 weeks.

I am going to disagree Mac..we all know the explosiveness that Tony is already capable of physically, its the mental aspect that has seemed to hold him back. Maybe Diego relates better with Tony and knows better how to coax the turtle out of his shell. It is like at a normal office, people respond to management styles in different ways and that directly affects productivity.
