OT: Computer Parts in Albuquerque or Santa Fe

Anyone know if there is any place I can buy a motherboard on Saturday in Albuquerque or Santa Fe? I was building a system today but the mobo I got in from Amazon has a bent pin.

Since PC Club closed, there hasn't really been anyone to pickup the slack. I would suggest I-40 computers near Eubank and Central, or Sandia Computers at Wyoming and Commanche.

You could also try Computer Corner--I bought a hard drive enclosure from them once upon a time and they were really helpful: http://www.compcorner.com/index.php

Computer corner has a board I can use in stock (and the price is good!) so thanks a ton for the suggestion. Hoping I can finish my build today.

Sorry for the OT thread but thanks for the help!

Man I'm so jealous, my computer started acting up this week and I found my mobo is gone along with the memory boards and I have to wait till Monday to go find one! You just get to pick from all the available, ah well at least I get to use my wife's MacBook when she isn't using it! We had a super strike last week and I think the protection failed, at the time I thought i was dead it was so close, could be it scared it to death!!!

The original point and click interface was a Smith & Wesson.

So the board I got from them is a GAZ77M-D3H. I was going to actually buy the full ATX version of it online but I just got this one since I'll never use the extra PCI slots (I don't game I just need a faster home computer for ArcGIS and Photoshop).

I got an I5 3570K so I can overclock it, 16gb ram, 258gb SSD, 1 tb HDD and thats pretty much it.

I could put an Apple OS on this thing and make it a Hackintosh but I don't really ever use anything that I have to run on an Apple product.

I was being sarcastic since everyone knows I'm one of those Apple DB's.

Nice SSD....I love mine. Integrated graphics? New 3rd gen I7's are sweet CPU's.

    Don't confuse the apple-tard's with multi-syllable words.

Yeah just going with the Intel HD 4000 that comes on the chip. Its pretty much better than any sub 100 dollar video card right now. Pretty damn amazing that an IGPU can handle actual common games now. AMD and Nvidia are probably pisssssssssssssssssed.

    Didn't Intel buy Nvidia?

My boys would riot on me if I used integrated graphics. Ultra settings are all they want.

I am strictly a laptop user these days...the technology they are packing into a 17 inch chassis for sub 1500 is amazing..I love it.
