Since PC Club closed, there hasn't really been anyone to pickup the slack. I would suggest I-40 computers near Eubank and Central, or Sandia Computers at Wyoming and Commanche.
Anyone know if there is any place I can buy a motherboard on Saturday in Albuquerque or Santa Fe? I was building a system today but the mobo I got in from Amazon has a bent pin.

You could also try Computer Corner--I bought a hard drive enclosure from them once upon a time and they were really helpful: http://www.compcorner.com/index.php
Computer corner has a board I can use in stock (and the price is good!) so thanks a ton for the suggestion. Hoping I can finish my build today.
Sorry for the OT thread but thanks for the help!

Man I'm so jealous, my computer started acting up this week and I found my mobo is gone along with the memory boards and I have to wait till Monday to go find one! You just get to pick from all the available, ah well at least I get to use my wife's MacBook when she isn't using it! We had a super strike last week and I think the protection failed, at the time I thought i was dead it was so close, could be it scared it to death!!!
if you had it on protection make sure to file a claim with them...

Computer Corner or possibly Dr Dans.
haha burro good point!
So the board I got from them is a GAZ77M-D3H. I was going to actually buy the full ATX version of it online but I just got this one since I'll never use the extra PCI slots (I don't game I just need a faster home computer for ArcGIS and Photoshop).
I got an I5 3570K so I can overclock it, 16gb ram, 258gb SSD, 1 tb HDD and thats pretty much it.
I could put an Apple OS on this thing and make it a Hackintosh but I don't really ever use anything that I have to run on an Apple product.
This should settle it Mark.
I am strictly a laptop user these days...the technology they are packing into a 17 inch chassis for sub 1500 is amazing..I love it.
