Looks like I got 12-4. Should be enough to win the league. This conference has become a total meat grinder.

12-4 wins the league no question. Maybe even 11-5. This league is freaking loaded this year. This is by far the best year of the MWC in its history. Cant wait!

We did it last season, We beat STDSU to essentially atleast clinch a tie for the regular season crown, and we beat UNLV in the Vegas Invitational.... Seriously people I dont care who are what plays for them.... What happened to "We Are NEW MEXICO"?

I got us at 13-3, but I'll pop bottles with JCB if we go 16-0.

I honestly made those picks knowing very little about the other teams at this point. A more educated guess will come in December. I have us losing to Nevada on the road.

Also, I think adding USU and SJSU will just about offset the loss of SDSU and BSU in hoops when looking at this schedule. We could build just as good of a rivalry with the Aggs as we've had with the asstecs, it'll just take a few years.

You probably mean 15-1 and that would have the Lobos ranked in the top ten. I realistically see 12-4 and I think that will tie for the conference title. It will be a grind in the MWC this year for sure.

That's why this coming season I see us MAKING history! Woof woof woof. Nobody has ever run the table before, yes, but if we fire on all cylinders and no injuries, I truly believe we have the players and the staff to pull it off.

Got Lobo's at 12-4 also. I think that will wind up in a tie for first place in the MWC. More competition than ever in the MWC this season. UNLV will probably be the pre-season favorites due to big name recruits and transfers, but not sure how 8 new players will mesh with their returnees.

Basketball is a game of matchups and with that said

UNLV - Loss. I just don't think UNM matches up well enough inside to win, I think the guard play is about even and ultimately the Forwards/Center will determine the game and this year without gordon and hardman (played great against UNLV every game) I'm not sure it's a battle UNM can win.
Fresno - Win, while FSU has good big coming in UNM is the better more complete team inside the bit, get the axe ready because someone is going to the woodshed.
Boise- Win, Boise gave a few scares last year but they still don't have the talent to put it all together.
CSU - Win, Rams were the only team outside of UNLV and the bottom half that had a horrible away record I don't see them with the firepower to upset them.
SDSU- Loss, Viejas will be packed and it will be a highly rated Aztec team (they get UNLV at home too during first half).
Wyoming - Win, Lobo's have Wyo's number and proven they can excute in a half court setting.
Nevada - Win, Reno has played at the T&M and at USU in recent years but I don't think anything will be prepare them for the pit. Alford is a better X's and O's coach then Reno's Carter.
Air Force - Win, Lobo's are AFA kryponite there isn't much else that can be said other then that.
UNLV - Loss, Matchups see above!!!
Fresno - Win, Fresno is tested and I feel they will burn out in the MWC around this point in the season if not sooner.
Bosie - Win, BSU will give lobo fans the scare of the season 1 point last second shot win.
CSU - Loss, Fort Collins is no joke and the rams will get revenge on earlier drubbing from the pit.
SDSU - Win, Don't think SDSU will have the firepower to beat the Lobo's in the pit.
Wyoming- Win, Don't think Wyo will have the horses to win the games.
Nevada - Loss, Upset alert I really think Reno at Home will give the Lobo's all they can handle and then some. I don't know what it is but at that arena when heavy favorites go in they normally just squeak out wins.
