    1. Why hasn't logwood been playing the last couple games?
    2. Why has Antino been getting more PT at PG, is something wrong with Chris McNeal that he hasn't been playing the PG role as much?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

    1. Sam has an injured shoulder.
    2. McNeal is very turn over prone due to his ill advised passes and Antino has been playing the position better

Sam has a dislocated shoulder. Antino has been playing great for us. He was a huge part of our win against Wyoming. I don’t see him losing minutes anytime soon.

I think I remember coach saying early in the season that he wanted Antino to learn and eventually take over running the PG position and have McNeal serve as his backup. Correct me if I'm wrong as my memory is a little shaky.

If I recall, Antino is more of a true point and McNeil has been a 2 guard....having a tougher time transitioning.

This is Antino's first season as a PG. Pretty amazing if you ask me.
My position as a moderator adds no validity to my opinions. I am a fan just like you and as such when I express a view it represents me and me alone and carries no more weight than any other fan other than the fact that I am always right. (Like everyone else.)

The 2nd half against Wyoming, Antino just took over and ran the team. It was amazing to see. He is a handful and then some.

Jackson appears to me to be a natural PG who can score first, when needed - however, that isn't how he was used at his previous school and therefore, he has had to learn the PG responsibilities and have a "run the team" first mentality and then score as the team needs it. I agree with Peace that he is learning this at a very fast pace and I think it is probably a makeup of three things - 1) Jackson's desire to do what he is asked to in order to help the team win (team 1st attitude - noticed his energy/effort on D as Weir wanted in that 1st scrimmage in Johnson); 2) his natural abilities to handle, pass & push (quickness) which are necessary attributes of a PG in Weir's system; and 3) good coaching teaching him what he needed to change to become a good PG as well as his existing scoring skills. Bottom line is that he has made the transition in very positive manner (although still learning), is a great addition to this team, and I wish we had him for a few more years - one and gone for him is just not enough for me but it will have to do.
