    Lapeyrolerie injury?

    First Post Banner
Has there been any word on the injury? They didn’t mention her on ESPN3 after she left the game.

She could not put any weight on it and went up the ramp on the cart with her mom.

It looked like Alex knew it was serious right away from the expression on her face. She did not come back to the Pit floor, and I would guess nothing will be known by anyone until at least tomorrow. It did not look good.

That's awful, that would be a sad way for a great Lobo to end her career.

really unfortunate. Just hope it's nothing that effects her long term later in life. Hopefully, she can make a 100% recovery.

Can't imagine she has not been diagnosed by now. A lot of fans are anxious to hear and hope for the best.

MRI was last night. Dr visit was going to be today or tomorrow.

Last year, we did not hear on some of the knees for a week or more.

Be patient (no, I am not being patient either). She can't play or practice until the team gets back (i.e. probably not before Friday) so whether we hear or not before then, it won't really affect anything.

Very sad to hear, but that is what it looked to be.

Sad end to the career of a player who was a joy to watch on the court and interact with the fans. And she is a pleasure to talk with off the court.

She will be successful at whatever she does moving forward, and I certainly hope that still includes basketball because I know she wants to play more.

maybe 610 can start a new pre game segment "a moment with Alex" where she can talk strategy with them before the game... She's great on the radio.

Is it the same knee she injured that caused her to redshirt? All season she's favored the knee that buckled on Saturday. Very sad indeed. She plays with joy. We'll miss her rebounding and defense in general as much as her three pointers. She seems to have a lot of strength of character and courage, but I hate for her to have to use them. She's been through a lot.

What a great idea! I've loved listening to her interviews. Very well spoken and great Bball IQ.

So sad for her. I was very happy to see her having such a great senior season. What a heartbreaking way to end her college career. Hope everyone comes out in force to support her on senior night.
