"The University of New Mexico women's basketball team goes for its second win in a row when the Lobos travel to take on Utah State 7 p.m. Wednesday."

"UNM defeated Utah State just two weeks ago 80-47 in Albuquerque as four Lobos finished in double figures - Jaisa Nunn (20 points, 12 rebounds), Tesha Buck (15 points),
Madi Washington (15 points) and Alex Lapeyrolerie (11 points)."

While the nation debates whether teachers should carry guns to protect students from armed intruders, the question is already settled in the Clarksville (Arkansas) School District and the Callisburg (Texas) Independent School District, where educators have had firearms on campus for years.

    Utah State Aggies

"New Mexico opens the week of competition with a 19-7 overall record, going 7-6 in Mountain West play. The Lobos split their games last week, falling at Boise State (91-85) and defeating Air Force at home, 57-49."

"The Lobos hold the lead in the all-time series with Utah State, 16-6, in games dating back to the 1974-75 season. New Mexico has won the last four contests in the series, with Utah State's last victory coming on Jan. 9, 2016. The teams met in Albuquerque just two weeks ago, with the Lobos taking the 80-47 win."

“When we rise to the occasion and play physical, that’s when we’re at our best,” Buck said. “I feel like we’ve gotten better on defense lately and it’s kept us in every game. We just need to make a few more stops and we’ll start winning these road games.”

“Slowing down (Rachel) Brewster and keeping (point guard Eliza) West in front of us are the biggest things,” Bradbury said. “We did a good job on them the first time, but we can’t afford to let those two go off.”

"We need to win this game,” Bradbury said. “I felt the same way about Saturday’s game against Air Force. It doesn’t matter where it’s being played, we need to find a way to get this one.”
