That is a weird list. I never thought of Albuquerque as a college town. Our city is too big, we have a commuter campus, and students really are not very active in college sports or events. I think of our city as a medium size city (without a pro sports team-hockey does not count) with a somewhat large university. Cities like Albuquerque, Tucson, Columbus (Ohio), Las Vegas, Louisville, Salt Lake City (even with the Jazz), and Austin. When we are on the same list as Logan, Utah I laugh. Sunset should stick to gardening and travel.

What they said in the article was basically all true. It's anpleasantnsuprisento be at the top of a "good" list for a change - I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. UNM is the largest employer in abq (yes more than KAFB) so that is an argument for it being a "college town"

We're only at the top because it's in alphabetical order. Otherwise, I agree that it's nice to be on the list.

I think APS has more employees so many that makes us a high school town. Just kidding. I agree it is good to be on the list but I still think it is a weird list.

No no reason to quible but based on my info, UNM has more - regardless, it's good to read something positive about the Q.
