Tailgating

This is my first year of season tickets for football! I'm going to do the whole tailgating thing! I was out getting stuff and I came across bean bag toss! It's suppose to be a fun game to play while tailgating! So I picked it up! I was looking online to see if I could find some UNM bean bags for the game! I could find every other college team but no lobos! Does anyone know where I could find them?

I was in cottonwood this weekend and saw a store with awesome beanbags!
I dont know if they had Lobo bags though...

Rich, you will probably have to make them yourself. Go find some old Un-torn blue jeans and cut 6 inch squares...sew three sides to form a pocket and put in a 10 or 11 oz of pinto beans and then sew the other end up...do this for three more bags..4 in all of the same color jeans. Find different same colored blue jeans and do the same all over again. Each player(s) would have four bags each...It really is a fun game...sort of like horsehoes. Good Luck

Roob yea bean bag is really fun! You need to try it! It's a great drinking game and it's really popular back east! I have played it a few times! They even have national tournmants! Not that serious but it's a lot of fun!

Not sure if you can swing by the bookstore at main campus. I know when I was there, can't believe it's going on two years, but they usually had a few items for tailgating needs.

I am pretty sure I remember seeing the bean bag toss games/kit there, because I always wanted to pick one up as well.

But you might want to call before heading down there. Hopefully you can get someone who understands what you are talking about.

Rich, if you make your own you can find UNM fabric at most cloth stores (call ahead to be sure) with which to make the bean bags. Not sure what type of cloth would be optimal, or if they have that, but my in-laws have made pillows, blankets, and the like out of UNM cloth.

My wife and I are going to start tailgating ourselves to begin a tradition for our 13 month old son. After playing the FB game at ITZ we need to work on throwing spirals with kid size footballs apparently :)

They open the lots six hours before game time. With the restricted parking this year, I have no idea what time you should be there.
