I didn't listen to much of it (I listenend during the "24" commercials) but it does seem over the last few coach's shows that SA is becoming less tolerant of Galetti's interview questions..........mainly, because it seems that Galetti doesn't listen to SA's answers, then follows up with a stupid question that is very similar to what SA just explained.

I'm not sure if Galetti is just distracted by everything he has to cover during one of those shows, or if he is just another Henry T type of interviewer - doesn't really know enough to ask an insightful or provocative question.

Either way, listening to these things is becoming less informative.

Let me summarize the majority of this year's SA interviews.

1.) This is a real young team
2.) Defense is the key to this team winning.
3.) When this team shares the ball and doesn't turn it over we're hard to beat.
4.) We need to work on Defense
5.) Usual Ro or Gary comment
6.) A Couple times now and definately this week ... AJ is the most improved player and really playing well
7.) If you play good defense and keep it close going into the final 5 minutes you have a chance to win
8.) We've got another real tough test coming up at or against ... insert team
9.) You know Scott, we've got a real young team ... 8 underclassmen ... learning ... growing
10.) Conference play is tough .... 2nd Season comment
11.) Need to play better Defense and if we do we have a good shot to win.

I believe it's called coach speak, right??

I do think Scott D. does ask much better questions and receive better responses from Coach Alford than Galetti does.

That about sums it up. There weren't really any big revelations, and there never really are.

He did talk a bit about Drew Gordon, that he's 6-9 and a big kid but he needs to get his legs back after missing six weeks of basketball. He said he's going to have a major impact when he's eligible around Christmas, but for now his biggest asset is giving us another body in practice.
