I heard him say that and I was pretty shocked. Now we love Mangino here because he routinely pimps the Lobos, but how do you cover a conference and not have seen all the teams in action at least once even if as a mere spectator?

I do think the Miles is doing a good job but his only wins have been against the VERY weak bottom half of the conference. Until he starts winning games against the top 4 he shouldn't even be considered for coach of the year. As for CSU competing for the league title next year that is hilarious! They should be improved but unless their recruiting includes some Micky D's all americans, they have a long way to go to compete at the level of the UNM, UNLV, BYU and SDSU.

I also think Miles is doing a good job. Coach of the year? Depends on how everybody finishes up. Seems csewe was picked to be a bottom dweller, and if they can get to 4th, maybe a shot. We win out and there is no question. :-)
