I just couldnt put any TCU guys on there as they just dont play well as a team. Muojeke of Wyoming would have been on there somewhere but he got hurt. I guess my question is, "If TCU has such good players (i.e. Moss and Buljan), why do they suck?" I just cant give too much respect for that....On the other hand, I'd consider guys like Bellfield, Stanback, and Jasper because UNLV is a damn good team.....I think team is the key word here.

Because they have nothing else around them. We have seen that if there is a player or two that is really talented, but nothing else around them, they might not have the best team. Just look at Ruben Douglas and those Lobo teams that weren't very good. But Ruben definitely deserved to be all-conference.

I guess my point is that there are other aspects of the game that these UNLV guys are doing well that may not show in the stats-LIKE DEFENSE and TEAMWORK. Obviously, UNLV is playing great defense-a large part of winning. Also if u look at Moss and Henderson, they have pretty shabby fg pcts. They're certainly capable of some very good games but lack consistency. ......And they aint no Ruben Douglas!

Seriously though, Darrington is a lock for Newcomer and if the Lobos finish 1st, both he and Ro will be first team. Gary should be second PG behind Jimmer. Phil will need a couple more good games to make all-conference this year. Lobos finish first - SA is COY (5th place - yea right!), otherwise the sentimental choice takes it.

Just win baby! Look how many years the Lady Lobos and coaches have been slighted - but they took the hardware and the NCAA bids.
