It's true - semifinal 5A boys state bball tourney, Eldorado vs. La Cueva. Coach Neal's son plays for Eldorado, and Coach Alford's sons play for La Cueva. Should be a great game - we know it's a great place to watch some hoops, right? Get out there and support local basketball if you can...

Ok - here's another angle. Let's pack the pit tomorrow night for this high school game. Why? Cullen Neal and Bryce Alford are both freshman. There are apparently some concerns about other schools luring our Alford/Neal package away. If their kids love it here and can play state games in front of a full Pit, or mostly full, this can help ensure they know Albuquerque is home and where they want to finish raising their families.

If we support the Lobos so much we'll show up for the selection show, surely we can support the sons of the coaches we love, right?
