I just don't see how coach could have passed on this guy. His upside is unbelieveable. We are set for a deep NCAA run, if not this coming year, for sure the following year.

He's the type of player that will help us tremendously after Gary graduates. The program keeps getting better and better.

Everything I've read says that he is a big-time athlete. I think the fact that he pointed out that he needs to work on his ball handling and shooting is good. It is always good to acknowledge your weaknesses. With the type of athletic ability he has, it would be nice if he becomes a lock down defender. You can never have enough guys like that.

After sitting out a year, Walker will end up in the same class as Kirk, Snell, Williams and Bairstow. They'll all be sophomores in a couple of years. That's a loaded class. If the backcourt eventually becomes Williams and Walker, it seems they would be completely interchangeable between the 1 and the 2 spots.

I agree. This year, Rese showed he has the "chops" to dominate an NCAA game both defensively like he did against Montana AND offensively, like he did against UW. He's only here one more year, so we have to make the most out of his remaining eligilibity!

Also having so many players return with experience, add Drew that has former on court experience as well as 1 year in the system once he becomes eligible and you have a pretty experienced team you put out on the floor.

You then add a stacked class that will provide plenty of depth and perhaps a starter or two out of that class, and yes, next year, I like our chances to finally make it to the Sweet 16 and possibly beyond!!!

Here's one odd stat, and I don't remember it ever happening before, but if Butta stays in the draft and goes pro, we will have only 1 Sr for the second consecutive season...EmotWOW

Must admit, I also really like our chances the following year by adding Dunning and hopefully Ajou or some other similar post prospect and everyone else return with experience and this year's super sophs will all be Sr's including Gordon!!!

That is a loaded class, and when you add Dominique Dunning to the backcourt after next season the quality of play and competiiton for minutes at the 1-2 positions will be ferocious (especially when you consider how good Jamal will be by his junior year). What a great situation.
