    Kentucky being investigated

You mean a Calipari run team might be in trouble? How could that be?

No wonder they had 5 picks in the first round! Now I see where Hobson screwed up, he should have hired an agent straight out of high school!

According to the source, one particular player allegedly had an agreement with an agent dating back to his senior year of high school - which is in direct violation of NCAA rules.
If anyone remembers the allegations from earlier this year, Bledsoe's high school coach was apparently paying his rent for him. His high school coach wasn't exactly loaded, so where is he getting the money from? It would not surprise me at all if the player who had an agent was in fact Bledsoe. A lot of people weren't willing to touch him, Cal was, he just can't say no.

From what I have heard that the Bledose thing was far from over. The word in basketball circles is that this comes as no suprise and the NCAA is out for Blood after putting the screws to USC. The last thing Kentucky needs is another harsh penalty.

What are the odds of Calipari running away to the NBA, like Pete Carroll did to USC?

Depends what comes of the investigation at Kentucky! CAL is always going to be linked with NBA jobs no matter what! Calapari is not going to just go to any NBA job. It will have to be the right fit. Besides the NCAA has to have prove there was something there to warrant penalities.

KENTUCKY very well could be in some deep trouble. Just depends on the amount of tangible information or those who come forward against UK the NCAA can gather. This could dragout for a longtime!

I feel so bad for "Coach" Cal. He had no idea these things were happening and was just trying to be the best coach he can be. Man, of all the bad luck. Everywhere he goes the players and university seam to always cheat. Cal is the real victim in all of this.

Can't wait to see Kentucky burn for this one. They knew what they were getting into when they slipped between the sheets with that prostitute and they'll be left with the warts to prove it. Guess it's pick your poison ... they were never going to win a championship with his coaching and a bunch of one and dones anyhow. If you can't win with 5 NBA first rounders on your team you'll never win one.

This kind of problem will continue until the NCAA gets serious and bans the coaches who do this and/or nails the schools which hire them. The provisions are there - they just don't use them unless the violations are so bad they can't be swept under the rug.

Like I said. It's not what the NCAA thinks they know it's what they can prove. Just like at Memphis or UMass if there is tangible proof or other info then the UK could be in big trouble.

OR the school under investigation is a NON-BCS school which does not have the resources to fight back.

Kentucky has a history of being dirty, this school treasures winning over everything else... I smell a death penalty...? Or maybe BCS just makes it official and suspends NCAA eligibility requirements from BCS Conferences, just go semipro and make this student athlete farce come to an end!
