Good coverage for Lauren back home in Indiana. She is doing very well for herself and the team. Projecting she is coming in injury free this fall, I look for a breakout year for her. Go Lauren.

I think she is describing the early problems with players perfectly. They come in after being the best player in 5 counties and are suddenly an equal with 14 others. The shock to the ego has to be tremendous. Add to that Aaron Day workinbg them out and working them over and the challenge of university level scholastics, being a freshman and sphomore can be very rough. I think that if she is healthy that this will be a big year for her.

And at UNM, players are not allowed to slide in any area. So, the pressure is even greater to be an all-around student athlete. I, for one, am very pleased that the program produces doctors, accountants and other polished professional women.

I would not be surprised to see her back in the starting lineup. Remember the game where she shot 100%. would love to see a game like that again.

Jessica will likely start. Strong arguments can obviously be made for Sara, Lauren, and Amanda.

None of those are the second post starter, nor a true PG.
