It's being reported that the Pacers are set to acquire PG Darren Collison, who had an astounding rookie year backing up the oft-injured Chris Paul in New Orleans. They're also reportedly acquiring glue guy James Posey while giving up the solid-but-way-overpaid Troy Murphy.
I don't think this move gets the Pacers to the playoffs, but they were in desperate need of a starting-caliber PG and also were able to dump Murphy's unconscionably huge contract. Collison for Murphy is a steal IMO, so being able to also add James Posey as a role player just makes it icing on the cake.

Collison would be a big help. Now they just need to unload Dunleavy
