That is phenomenal!
Those numbers for tickets remaining don't include standing room correct?
--Stand TALL or don't stand at all
That's correct
SRO from my understanding is 2,000. With that said, the initial count looks good but its basically the same as what we started with last year. So the pace is about the same, as weird as that sounds
You're right, that does sound weird. How do you add 800 suite level (40 suites x 20 tickets per suite) as well as club level and have only a handful of tickets left, yet, be at the same pace as last year?
I thought capacity last year was in the low 14,000+? (no SRO or upper deck seats) Appears this year, most games are already approching 15,000, without including SRO's?
All Chairback Section are sold out for a whole season. The Club Section, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 48, 49, 50 are Sold out.. only 46 and 47 Club Section still tickets left. It's about 45 tickets left. but no inform about Suites Section, we can't get tickets for Suites Section on the internets.
possible Concourse Level seats almost sold more than 15,000.

Just shows it you want to get tickets next year, you better buy season tickets!
When I say last year, I'm mainly referring to the years prior in the old pit. I was just talking about the tickets available on the day you can buy single game tickets. Two years ago on a day like today, we had ~1800 tickets available. Add in 1,000 SRO and you have 2800. This year it's looking like 600 to start, plus 2000 SRO. So almost the amount of tickets is available.. Now the quality of tickets obviously have changed.
Last years capacity was 14,586.
Since then, they have gotten all new chairbacks (going from 10 sections to 7), lost the first 5 rows in the chairbacks, and also widened the aisles. This leaves the lower bowl at a number around 13,562.
13562 plus 800 suite plus 365 club level plus 2,000 sro gives you what is truly the new capacity 16,727. UNM is likely rounding that up in the neighborhood of 400 to include staff and workers
WallyHopp, you are the man. I wish I could have put it in numbers but you did it better than I could have.
So only SRO are available?
wallyhopp,
thanks for more inform about capacity.
If what you are writing is true than the initial OP thread title is incorrect. We could not have already sold close to 16,000 tickets because the max tickets we have minus standing room is only 14,727 or 15,126 depending on which number is correct for total capacity.
2,000 sure sounds like a lot of standing room tickets to me.

Since someone mentioned that 3K of new fans coming from Los Alamos is exciting. I wonder if they plan on having buses available for trans to the PIT. BTW...since I live in Rio Rancho...it would be nice to have a Bus made available for some of us fans to the PIT> Are you listening Mayor Berry/Mayor Swisstack?
just a FYI for those waiting on single game tickets... There was a good 200 club level seats this evening with a white paper noting they were available for season ticket purchase.
On the lower bowl, there was another solid hundred or so "available season ticket" seats. UNM tends to "save" those or put them aside as single game tickets go on sale. Right before games if those are still unsold, they will release them to the open public. If you really want tickets, just be on the lookou constantly
so KOAT just said there's 1,300 tickets available for wednesday's exhibition game against eastern. Not sure if this is 'seats' or if it's counting SRO 'seats'...either way, will be a good exhibition crowd...
