We definitely need PMAC to play well. He's the only one on our team (besides Snell in the future) that expands our offensive threat being a legit 3. He can hit the outside shot, drive in and shoot over the bigs, and rebound. If the Lobos want to be taken seriously in post-season play, they need his size at the 3 to make other defenses play true around the perimeter and paint. I hope his performance tonight is signs of a consistent and aggressive McDonald because if he plays like this every night, UNM will be tough for anyone down the road!

Seriously! I was hoping they would show a highlight on the news at least but they only showed AJ's dunk which was pretty sweet itself but I was really hoping to see P-Mac's. So if anybody has video of it please share!!!

Exactly! I can almost promise you that this single stat might have been the most important for the staff. Maybe the most single stressed thing I hear in practice is "rebound Phillip!"
Now you've shown you have the ability Phil, time to produce night in and night out. I think 9 is unrealistic for Phil but 6ish and better should be his goal. However, the reason he was able to get 9 was because SIU was shooting so many long shots creating long rebounds. But still, the talent is there. Just need to go out and get it.

Agreed! When you look at Darrington's production from last year, one of the most impressive parts of his game was his ability to rebound and bring the ball up quickly. This is exactly the kind of role that Philly needs to take on. I can see him rebounding, leading a break, dishing off and getting loose in the corner like DH did last year. With his shot coming around that really opens things up on the break and our transition game.
