My momma just told me she saw on the news that The Pit has passed all the requirments set by the fire marshall. I didn't see the news, so I don't know the details. Thought I'd post this and see if anyone else has any info...

Thank you, my friend. Could lift the restrictions by Wednesday, which, I'm assuming means we have the 3 minute delay, or whatever it is, in the fire alarm. I just want this whole thing to be over.

Safety provisions on the main concourse meant that vendors couldn't even operate small booths selling things like t-shirts because a key part of the fire system, the smoke evacuation system, hadn’t received a seal of approval from the fire marshal.

WOW!.. NO concourse vending was a part of the restrictions? The points of sale just might expand to ACCEPTABLE levels.. That is some great news. The entire "new wing" on the East side is pretty baron with terrible use of space. As well as the new glass enclosed North side. With more vendors in key spots, we may see concession lines LESSEN.

So much has been left out that we weren't even told.
