Tebow may surprise if he develops as he has. He is easy on the surface to categorize, but he has a lot of intangibles that are missing in other quarterbacks, much more like a linebacker outlook.

In other news from the TOO EARLY TO CALL TIMES GAZETTE. My 5 year old has a sick cross-over!

Why are we still talking about Jimmer? The Lobos will push their streak to 4 tonight... Who gives a flying F about Jimmer? I don't wanna talk about Jimmer again until March 2nd, when we get ready to beat him again. Kid can play ball, but he can't beat New Mexico. No more Jimmer, please...

I doubt he'll be the Tebow of the NBA. Tebow will end up winning 3 SB's in Denver, and 2 league MVP's.
Jimmer won't do that in the NBA.

Disclaimer: I'm a Broncos fan, so this is how I'm required to feel. However, if Elway trades Timmy, I don't think he'll amount to anything extra special...

Disagree with the Tebow comparison. Both Tebow and Jimmer are obviously great collegiate players. but the major difference between Tebow and Jimmer is that Tebow is an athletic freak of nature and Jimmer is not. Tebow's shuttle times were the best of all QB's at the combine, and among the best of all skill position players. He was also the strongest QB in the draft and had a 38 inch vertical. People complained about his "slow" 40, but he still ran an electronically timed 4.7 40 at 245 pounds, which isn't bad. With Tebow the question was never about his athleticism translating to the NFL, it was his throwing mechanics and release (The jury is still out). With Jimmer, I question whether he has the athleticism and explosiveness to be more than a role NBA player.

Jimmer is a really good player. While I hate him while we are playing him, I have a lot of respect for him. He actually reminds me a lot of alfords playing style. A true shooter scorer who plays really smart. I like jimmer and I wish him the best of luck. Clutch shooting is key in the nba.

Tebow was also a proven winner at the Collegiate level, Jimmer has yet to carry his team to that "elite" status.

'Jimmer will be the NBA's Tebow'

Does that mean he will be the starting point guard on an NBA team next year?
