NCAA ever rule on schollie Appeal?

Been out of town, so may have missed it just curious as to whether there was ever an actual NCAA ruling on the lost schollie appeal/AJ issue

probably too late to incorporate him anyway and why mess with chemestry that works but curious about the caring student first speed of the NCAA

Not sure but Classes at UNM have started. It better happen quick. Hardeman would be worked into the roation slowly. He would necessarily ruin chemistry. If you work him into the rotation especially if Daniel and Monquel get into foul trouble...then he'd be a huge factor. Hardeman is extremely athletic and a good rebounder and defender. The NCAA operates on thier own time. I'm sure that UNM will hear something very soon if they haven't already!

That's good then That leaves more time to get Hardeman here should everything work out.

Thanks, I think Hardeman sounds quite exciting and no doubt another inside body will be great especially with BYU and the conf tournament and beyond if it happens; but it is getting late and will take him awhile to get up to game conditioning, form and Alford's system combined with next years schollie situation leaves me with some reservations especially if it precludes us from getting Taylor

Shame, but not the least bit suprising, the NCAA did'nt give us a ruling in December

I really like Hardeman he's a real. If UNM can get Jeff Taylor the 2008 class would be really sick. UNM has a really impressive class coming in and adding Jeff Taylor. Talent wise there's no team in the MWC that can match the recruiting that Coach Alford and his staff are doing. Coach Walker is such a great recruiter. He's been an assistant on the college level before. UNM will continue with that Houston Connection.

    In a fog

I guess there is something I have just missed. I thought all scolarships were used this year and next year with signed LOIs. Plus if TD plays next year there is another problem there as to number of scholies. Someone please lift the fog for me, Thanks:look

UNM has appealed the Scholarship they lost to due thier APR Dip. If Dandridge somehow gets a medical redshirt and an exemption from the NCAA they'll get another.

At this rate the NCAA will rule in time for us to pull Hardemann into post-season play. It's getting awfully late in the process. Originally we were supposed to hear by January 4th. Not sure how much longer the staff holds out hope. January 21, which marks the start of classes, sounds like the next critical "go/no go" date. Not sure if Hardemann has other options he's exploring for the Spring semester right now and how long he's able to wait for an APR decision. There may be a schollie available immediately from some other program that wants him and that doesn't have to wait on an appeal.

I think Hardeman will given an exception because he is supposively eligible and waiting for a response from the NCAA. Being that he's one of Coach Walker's guys I think he'll wait it out. Everything from what I've heard is that UNM's appeal stands a better than good chance of getting the scholly back. I hear the Coaching staff has a pretty strong case for that as well.

There has been no confirmation that Hardeman has gotten eligible in time for the spring semester. At last word, he still needed an SAT score.

School actually starts on Tuesday Jan 22. Monday is MLK day. He then has two weeks to register for classes(like Granger did on the very last day). So then he has until Feb 1st to register. Lets just hope!

He's a former member of the T-Mac All-Stars who played for Coach Walker. Originally signed with Texas Tech but didn't qualify intially. And attended Harmony prep school in Cinci and is interested in UNM. A real big-time talent...very good rebounder and defensive player. He's very athletic as well.
