I watch that and can't help but feel bad for UTEP's players. You see them tell the assistant coach to sit down after Floyd had been ejected. You can see them huddle up and try to regroup. It look like they just want to play.

Tim Floyd is a POS. you can see what happens when his frustrations boil over. Two weeks ago UTEP had a 2 game lead and first place in the CUSA. They have lost 3 of their last 4 and are now looking like they are NIT bound.

You do know that Floyd is in his first year at UTEP right? So actually no the vast majority of the guys on that team did not "sign on to play for UTEP knowing Floyd's past".

Well, we didn't see what brought it on and I thought when he tried to talk they refused and he got the first "T" he should have mellowed some, there was no doubt after the first free throw that that ref was going to toss him, could not understand the assistant not trying to regroup and calm the team though. I like a coach that backs his players, but he has to know when to shut up.

The guy is an idiot. I read the book about Demetrius Walker recently. There was an account there about Floyd's recruitment of Walker in there when Floyd was at USC. Demetrius got cold feet on signing day and asked for a couple of more days to clear his mind before signing his LOI. Floyd's response was to give him all kinds of ****. He told Walker that he would talke to NBA teams about Walker's shortcomings. He would make sure that Walker never made it to the NBA. Yeah, I'd say that's a good way to treat 18 year old kids. He's a hot head. And an a$$hole.

So explain to me how it is that UTEPs kids "signed on" to play for Floyd as you said in your origonal post? You can't because they didn't. There are 11 players on that team that signed with Tony Barbee not Floyd.
