This can't be true!! When Gordon chose UNM over UNLV it was because UNLV ONLY chooses transfers of the very highest quality to be a part of thier program. I don't believe it.![]()
In October, Jones allegedly struck fellow freshman Garrett Jackson in the team locker room, fracturing his nose, teammates who witnessed the incident said. He also had a confrontation with a resident advisor in his dormitory.

Well I think they will be willing ro stretch the rules just a little because they are really in need of another gaurd ...
They're itching for another Tre'von...
There's never enough transfer guards in the world for Kruger. He's shooting for an entire roster of 13 of 'em.
I don't see anything wrong with giving a kid a second chance eithr. My post was pointed directly at MANY UNLV fans that claimed that UNLV didn't want Gordon because of "character Issues" only to recruit a player who actually does have "character issues". Also, those same UNLV fans claimed that UNLV was very picky with recruiting transfers from other schools while having a roster littered with D-1 transfers.

Kruger sure does love transfers. Recruiting transfers it real tricky because you rarely get the whole truth on why these players are transferring. I am glad that Alford and Co. do the bulk of their recruiting high school kids, with a transfer sprinkled in here and there.
I have to say that Jones would be a different kind of transfer than they usually take, what with his issues and at least having played some decent minutes at USC. Usually, they get transfers who just rode the pine at their previous schools (leave because of lack of PT).
